Elvedin Begić

Elvedin Begić

Born on October 24th 1960 in Sarajevo. He graduated at the Faculty of transport and communications in Sarajevo, and from 1983 to this day, he is employed at the Sarajevo international airport where he works as transportation executive director.

From 1979, he is involved in football club Butmir, where he was president from 1996 until 2004. He is a member of the club's administration at the moment.

As a sports associate, he worked as a delegate in FSKS (Sarajevo Canton Football Federation), member of the FSKS chairmanship and FFBIH security and stadiums committee member.

On September 17th 2012, he was elected as FSKS president, and on April 18th 2011 as a member of FFBIH normalization committee member, which was established by FIFA.

He is a vice president of UEFA's stadiums and security committee, and was elected as a FFBIH president on December 13th 2012, with four year office term. A Member of the UEFA Committee for Event Organisation.

At the FFBIH Elective General Assembly on December 22nd 2016, he was re-elected as a president of the Football Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina for the period 2016 to 2020.
