“The basic goal is fulfilled, that is, the children are socializing. The “Orphan’s Cup” is based on education, socializing, acquaintance and overcoming prejudices and I think that we managed to achieve all that in these two days. We sent a nice picture from the Ethno Village Stanišići and I was glad to see how the participants of this event were happy and happily went back to their houses. This is an incentive to continue and the FF BH will continue to organize more events of this type in the future.”
The director of the Cantonal public institution Bjelave Children’s Home - Sarajevo, Belma Ahmagić, stated:
“It was, indeed, a positive event and a nice manifestation. It is very useful for these children to be engaged in sports activities for their health, but also for socialization. For this reason, we are pleased to have participated in one such event and we support the organization of the same also in the future.”
The manifestation was opened with the performance of the Dance Club 101 from Bijeljina.
This project was implemented by the Football Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina and BAAP-BH (Balkan Alpe Adria Project), the main local partner of the Project “Football Together” with the support of the Embassy of Austria in Bosnia and Herzegovina.
The FF BH is grateful to all the participants and volunteers who have made this event to be the best.
