In the first half, Sarajevo had several opportunities, but they did not manage to shake the opponent’s net. Mirko Oremuš shot next to the goal after a cross by Halid Šabanović in the 5th minute, and Matthias Fanimo neither had luck in the 19th minute when he hit the frame of the opponent’s goal. Fanimo was fouled for a penalty in the 29th minute, but the goalkeeper of the Moldovan team defended the shot of Krsto Velkoski from the penalty spot.
The team of Goran Sablić continued to have a field initiative, but there were no great opportunities and the match ended without goals.

The second-leg match is scheduled for 15th July at 21:00 h at the “Asim Ferhatović-Hase” Stadium in Sarajevo.
