The Moroccans took the lead in the 8^th minute, when Rosella Annie Ayane reacted perfectly and sent the ball diagonally from the right side into the opposite corner for a 1:0 lead. Ghizlane Chebbak had a good attempt from a free kick from the right side in the 20^th minute, but the ball went beside a goal. Ayane wasn’t accurate either from about fifteen meters in the 30^th minute.

In the 32^nd minute, Sofija Krajšumović passed on the right side and crossed to the first post for Mejrema Medić, who volleyed the ball wide of the goal.

Morocco doubled the lead in the 40^th minute. Fatima Tagnaout hit the post and the ball bounced to Nesryna El Chad who passed it into the net.

In the second half, Samira Hurem’s players had the initiative and possession of the ball on their side, but they failed to score a goal from several good situations.

Marija Ana Milinković shot from a free kick in the 64^th minute, but the Moroccan defenders deflected the ball into the corner. Sofija Krajšumović and Mejrema Medić tried from the edge of the penalty area, but goalkeeper Khadija Er-Ramichi was successful on both occasions. The last chance was missed by Andrea Gavrić in the 84^th minute when, after a cross by Adelise Grabus from the right, she headed wide.
