Defeat by Denmark

The women’s “A” national team of Bosnia and Herzegovina was defeated today with 0:3 in the BH FF Training Centre in Zenica by Denmark in the qualifying match for the World Cup.

The match started with a minute of silence for the former female national team player of our country, Amela Fetahović, who recently lost her life in a car accident. She-Dragons ran out for warming up in T-shirts with her face in memory of Amela.

The guests came to the advantage already in the 1st minute, when Kathrine Møller Kühl was accurate from fifteen meters from the right side.

Denmark scored the second goal in the 14th minute. Sanne Troelsgaard shot from the edge of the penalty area, Envera Hasanbegović defended her shot with the help of a crossbar, but the ball bounced on a five-meter area for Signe Bruun, who was accurate for 0:2.

In the continuation, the Danes had a field initiative, while the BH national team played disciplined in defence, and from the counter-attack they tried to endanger the opponent’s goal.

Denmark scored the third goal in the 81st minute, and Emma Snerle was precise, who managed best in the crowd in the penalty area of the BH national team.
