She-Dragons defeated by Serbia

The women’s “A” national team of Bosnia and Herzegovina was defeated by Serbia today in a friendly match in Antalya with a score of 2:3.

She-Dragons led twice in this match, but the Serbian footballers managed to reverse the result in the finish.

Melisa Hasanbegović scored for Bosnia and Herzegovina in the 12th minute and Marija Ana Milinković in the 72nd minute. Two goals for Serbia were scored by Tijana Filipović in the 84th and 90th+1, and Jelena Čubrilo also scored in the 70th minute.

The head coach Samira Hurem said after the match:

“Given that this is a preparatory period, we have to be satisfied with what the players showed today. The girls played well and we led on two occasions which is a great indicator of our game. We conceded goals in the last part of the match when we had already changed the team and introduced new and younger players. This is a good test and a good preparation for the matches that await us in the qualifications.”

The BH team performed in the following composition: Almina Hodžić, Gloria Slišković, Melisa Hasanbegović (71st, Andrea Grebenar), Marija Ana Milinković, Dajana Spasojević (68th, Maja Jelčić), Marija Aleksić, Zerina Piskić (54th, Selma Kapetanović), Andrea Gavrić (54th, Elma Smajić), Minela Gačanica (68th, Adelisa Grabus), Amela Kršo, Ena Šabanagić (71th, Sofija Krajšumović).

Bosnia and Herzegovina will play its next match in Antalya against Morocco on 21st February at 15:00 h.
