Third Round of the BiH Women's Premier League

This weekend, the third round of the Women's Premier League of Bosnia and Herzegovina is scheduled, with three matches to be played.

The derby of the round is the match between Sloboda from Tuzla and Radnik from Bijeljina. Additionally, there will be games between ŽFK Leotar and ŽF/NK Emina, plus SFK 2000 Sarajevo is going against ŽNK Iskra Bugojno.

Radnik's head coach, Dragan Jevtić, shared his thoughts ahead of their first match of the season: “Finally, we're starting the season too. The last 15 days have been quite challenging and frustrating for all of us, but I'm confident we will rise above those difficulties and open our twelfth premier league season with a win. Sloboda is a team that deserves respect, they are surely full of confidence after a successful last season and a win in the previous round. However, I believe in my team and expect an exciting football match. I'd like to invite all football fans to spend their Sunday afternoon at Tušanj and support both Sloboda and Radnik."

Radnik player Kristina Tekić briefly commented on the upcoming duel against Sloboda: “We can't wait for the season to start. After well-executed preparations, we had a break of two rounds, but the team is in great spirits. On Sunday, we'll give our best to bring home three points."

Sloboda's coach, Adnan Šubić, shared his expectations for the upcoming round: “After our win in Bugojno, we're looking forward to the game against Radnik in a great mood. The girls are training hard and eagerly awaiting the match. Although we have great respect for Radnik, our goal is to confirm the win from the previous round. We'll make sure to prepare as much as possible and secure another victory that would mean a lot to us for the rest of the season."

Sloboda's goalkeeper, Amila Delić, said: “After the win in Bugojno, where we brought three valuable points back to Tuzla, we now face a match against the team from Bijeljina. We've proven to be worthy opponents despite the challenges, but everything has fallen into place and Sloboda is moving forward. The excitement is high, we've prepared well, and in this match, we'll give everything to make sure the result is in our favor."

The Sloboda vs. Radnik match is scheduled for September 15 at 3:30 PM on the Tušanj's auxiliary field in Tuzla. On the same day at 4:00 PM, Leotar and Emina will meet at Police in Trebinje, while at 7:00 PM, SFK 2000 and Iskra will play at the 'Otoka' stadium in Sarajevo.
