The Federation was represented at the meeting by EB member Muris Jabandžic, general secretary Adnan Džemidžić and executive director of the Administration Sector Nihad Hodžić, and the topic of discussion was the organization of the European Football Championship for female cadets, as well as the expansion of Zenica Training Camp.
After the meeting, Adnan Džemidžić said:
“We want to create new football male and female players, and Zenica is our base from which we want to start it all. We have excellent working conditions in our Training Centre and that is why we will work on its expansion. In addition, we have an important competition in May that will be held here, and we have agreed with the City of Zenica on the details of how we will work to promote this event, including the wider community. We want to bring the children back to the stadiums and we will work together to attract as many young people as possible to this event.”
Mayor Kasumović said:
“We talked about several things today, but the two most important topics are certainly the organization of the European Championship for girls under 17, which will be held in May in Zenica, Sarajevo, Mostar and Široki Brijeg. We are pleased that the City of Zenica will host this event and we will do our best to ensure that everything goes at the highest level. In addition, we talked about the expansion of the BH FF Training Centre, and this year we will start with the implementation of that project.”
WU-17 EURO 2022 will be held from 3rd to 15th May 2022.
