The Executive Board unanimously decided to select Robert Prosinečki for the head coach of the “A” national team of BH in the next qualifying round for the UEFA European Championship 2020, including the competition in the UEFA Nations League 2018.
The following members of the technical staff were appointed: Gordan Ciprić and Dragan Spasić (assistant coaches), Kenan Hasagić (goalkeepers’ coach), Elvir Rahimić (specialist coach in the technical staff).
The decision was made on the basis of reports, submitted by the responsible members, on the interviews and careful considerations of all the presented facts, especially considering the sports profile of Robert Prosinečki and his professional and human references, with the firm belief that the new head coach and his associates will successfully lead the national team to the goal, that is a qualification to the UEFA European Championship.
Regardless of the personal and diverse opinions and commitments within the Executive Board, which were independent of the Entity or any other membership of the Executive Board, a unique decision demonstrated the necessary unity within FF BH, with a wish to achieve the desired results in the upcoming period. By summarizing all individual positions, the decisions contain the FF BH common interest and imply unreserved support for the new head coach.
The Executive Board notes that all necessary procedures have been carried out in accordance with the principles of democracy, in order to find the best solution for a very important position in each association under conditions that the Federation could offer and in the circumstances in which the Federation functions.
Starting from the unique attitude of all members, the Executive Board invites the media, fans and the entire sports community to support the new head coach, because the achievement of these goals is possible only through the synergy of all the factors that make up the success pyramid, united in a common positive, winning energy.
