Young “Dragons” had their training session

The U-21 team of Bosnia and Herzegovina have been preparing the second day at the FF BH Training Centre in Zenica for qualifying matches with Switzerland and Romania for the European U-21 Championship 2019.

Prior to today’s afternoon training session, a midfield Amir Hadžiahmetović said:

“The spirit is good and we already have a good result in these qualifications. Some players had problems with injuries, but we all believe that we will be ready for matches with Switzerland and Romania. I had a problem with injury for a long time, and now I’m finally ready. Our next opponent is very good and the surprise is that they did not achieve better results in the qualifications. Switzerland is really composed of high quality players who play in strong teams. The Romanians are also good and are in competition to qualify to the EURO U-21. Nevertheless, we expect 6 points in the next two matches.”

Nemanja Trkulja, a goalkeeper, is also optimistic about matches with Switzerland and Romania:

“The unity we have had since the beginning of the qualification is following us today too and that is the reason for the good results of this team. I hope that we will be able to provide our utmost against Switzerland and achieve a good result on Friday. We have already shown that we can deal with everybody, and I expect to continue with this during the upcoming matches.”

Due to injury, the head coach Vinko Marinović will not be able to count on Nikola Dujaković.
