History 2009.

  • The champion club of the BH Premier League in the season 2008/09 was HŠK “Zrinjski”, while SFK “2000 Sarajevo” was both the women’s champion and the Women’s National Cup winner.
  • The winner of the Cup of Bosnia and Herzegovina in the men's competition was FK “Slavia”, and HŠK “Zrinjski” in the youth category.
  • In the youth categories following teams won the Championships: FK “Borac” (U-15), NK “Široki Brijeg” (U-17), and NK “Čelik” (U-19).
  • Our club representatives within the UEFA Champions League - Zrinjski, and Široki Brijeg, Slavija and Sarajevo in the UEFA Europa League were eliminated in the second and third qualifying round, and play-off, respectively.
  • FF BH was a host of the Qualifying Round of the UEFA European “U-19” Championship 2009/10 (Group 7), where our team passed in the Elite Round.
  • Team "U-17" succeeded to be qualified for the Elite Round through the qualifying round which was held in Wales, as well as the women's "U-19" Team.
  • In qualifying round for the 2010 World Cup the BH "A" National Team took the second place in Group 5, which provided our Team to take part in the play-off. It has been the biggest success ever in all qualifications. In both play-off games our team was defeated 1-0 versus the Portuguese National Team.
