Bosnia and Herzegovina national football team managed to beat Israel in Zenica tonight with 3:1 in the sixth round of Euro qualifications.
First goal on the match was scored by Tal Ben Haim from Israel's team in 42', however only one minute later, Edin Visca levels the score to 1:1. Later in first half's stoppage time, Edin Dzeko increases the result to 2:1 following a successful penalty kick.
Our team dominated the second half as well, and confirmation of that was the third goal for our team in 75', also scored by Visca. In the last minutes of the match, Edin Dzeko had the opportunity to increase the result but he hit the crossbar instead.
After the match coach Mehmed Bazdarevic addressed the media: "It was very important to win this match, players did their job admirably. But the next match is also important because it can definitely get us back in the game for Euro. Everyone involved tonight deserves a compliment, players who showed their will, quality, character and strength, and also our fans who supported us whole 90 minutes."
Edin Visca: "I'm very happy for scoring those goals, but three points are more important. It's hard playing when it's imperative to win, but we succeeded in that. There's no need for euphoria right now, we'll keep going one match at a time."
Edin Dzeko: "It was a deserved victory, we played very well. It was my fault they scored the first goal, but it turned out well for us because that mistake woke us up in a way."
Next qualifying match will be played on September 3rd in Brussels, Belgium.
