The 2018 FIFA World Cup preliminary draw has been held today in Saint Petersburg, Russia.
Bosnia and Herzegovina national football team was seeded to group H with Belgium, Greece, Estonia and Cyprus.
Coach Mehmed Bazdarevic thinks this draw was favorable for us: "We're satisfied with our group because we could have gotten much harder teams. Belgium is once again a favorite team, however other teams aren't better than us and we'll have to prove that. I wished for teams that we haven't played before with, but I'm happy because this group is quite on our level."
Vice president Darko Ljubojevic: "We should be happy because although we could have got an easier group, we also could have got a more difficult one, we'll be playing against well-known teams once again. I think Belgium is favorite team, be we possess the quality to qualify for next World Cup."
