FFBIH executive board held their 38th meeting today in Sarajevo. All board members were present, including president Elvedin Begic, mediation board members Ivan Osim and Sead Kajtaz, coach Mehmed Bazdarevic and U-21 coach Darko Nestorovic.
After the comprehensive discussion, the board unanimously adopted the following items:
- Records, informations, and conclusions from 37th meeting from Sept. 30th;
- Information on Emergency committee's decision from Oct. 28th;
- Current financial standings info;
- Coach Bazdarevic's report on qualifying games with Wales and Cyprus, and preparational activities for the both upcoming play-off games with Republic of Ireland;
After that, board unanimously adopted a proposal to continue the cooperation with coach Mehmed Bazdarevic and his current coaching staff through 2018 World Cup qualifying. The details of the contract will be determined later. Bazdarevic expressed his willingness to continue to lead the national team, and will concentrate on winning the play-offs against Ireland which will take us to EURO next year;
- Coach Nestorovic's report on U-21 qualifying games with Switzerland, and preparational activities for the upcoming qualifying match with England. Board expressed the support for his work and his efforts to improve the results in ongoing qualifications, and in the mean time in cooperation with this associates to profile the new candidates for the national "A" football team;
- Information regarding other teams' activities, praising the success of the U-17 team for the placement in the Elite Qualifying Round, as well as the continuous progress achieved by women's "A" team;
- Executive board is satisfied with the analysis and performance of the rounds 10-15 of 2015/16 BHT Premier League competition, carried out by relevant competition authorities. All FFBIH competitions were completed in accordance with the regulations and standards and without incidents, however the committees are asked to step up in the following months and efficiently deal with all the cases;
- Information from the meeting with UEFA associations' members in Nyon on Oct. 14th;
- Proposal drafts:
- For winter registration period in major football categories (Jan. 25th - Feb. 19th 2016);
- For futsal winter registration period (Dec. 28th - Jan. 15th 2016);
- For the inspection of the registration associations' work;
- For 2015/16 futsal schedule amendments;
- Informations regarding the implementation of various infrastructure projects.
