FFBIH executive board held their 39th meeting today in Sarajevo. 14 board members were present, including president Elvedin Begic, and mediation board members Ivan Osim, Faruk Hadzibegic and Sead Kajtaz.
After going through agenda, the board unanimously adopted the following items:
- Records, informations, and conclusions from 38th meeting from Nov. 9th;
- Competitions committee, referees committee, stadium and security committee, and disciplinary committee's reports on BHT Premier League with following notions:
- Conduct an analysis of BIH futsal legue with proposed solutions for recorded problems and issues;
- Prepare amendments to the appropriate regulations;
- Prepare an analysis of all Premier League officials' work;
The board expressed their satisfaction with the competitive authorities' job. Premier League works in accordance with the regulations and standards, and nothing was found to suggest any kind of irregularity.
- Financial issues:
- Current financial standings info;
- 2016 income and expense draft plan;
- National football teams:
- Reports on EURO play-off games with Republic of Ireland;
- Contract draft for national "A" football team coach;
- Reports on Women's Euro qualifying stage;
Coach Mehmed Bazdarevic's report has been adopted, however the board saw the missed chance to qualify for Euro as a failure. Members once again expressed the support for Bazdarevic's future work with the requirement that he has to come up with the work plan in cooperation with FFBIH technical department until the beginning of February next year in order for team and staff to be ready for the next World Cup qualifying round.
Besides friendly match with Switzerland on March 29th, a proposal for a second friendly with Luxembourd on March 25th was also adopted.
The board unanimously adopted the contract with coach Mehmed Bazdarevic and his associates for upcoming 2018 World Cup qualifying, which he officialy signed it at today's meeting.
- Draft decision on the formation of Women's U-17 league (to be confirmed during the FFBIH general assembly);
- Club licensing:
- Club licensing regulations for UEFA and domestic competitions;
- Results of UEFA club monitoring procedure;
- After reviewing FFBIH training center's work and planned operations, the board has requested an amendment with exact data and specific plans for year 2016;
- Miscellaneous:
- The proposal for the organization of the U-17 and U-19 European Championship. The deadline for application is February 29th 2016. FFBIH administration is appointed to fill and file the application, after which UEFA will make a decision on its status;
- Information from the regional football associations' meeting in Budva on Nov. 27th;
- PL clubs are obliged to settle their debts to the FFBIH for match recordings and match officials' expenses until Dec. 31st 2015, and until Feb. 19th 2016 for all other debts and costs.
At the end of the session, FFBIH management sent best wishes and greetings for the upcoming holidays to all citizens of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
