Football Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina executive board held their 45th meeting today in Sarajevo, with all board members accounted for including president Elvedin Begic, mediation board members Dusko Bajevic and Sead Kajtaz, and BiH national football team coach Mehmed Bazdarevic. The board unanimously adopted the following items:
- Records, informations, and conclusions from the 44th meeting from May 23rd this year;
- Information on Emergency committee's decisions from June 6th and June 14th;
- 2016/17 BHT Premier League competition modalities:
The proposal for a two-part system has been accepted - the competition will be organized in two parts and both will be carried out according to a double-point system. First part will consist of usual 22 rounds, after which the league will be divided in two (league for champions and league for survival) and last for next 10 rounds. Clubs will be able to transfer all earned points to the second part of the competition;
- 2016/17 FFBIH competitions schedule:
First half of the next BH Telecom championship season will be played from July 23rd 2016 until December 4th 2016, while the second half is scheduled from February 25th 2017 to May 27th 2017. BiH Cup finals will be played on May 10th and May 17th 2017 respectively;
- Extraordinary transfer window for futsal players will be opened from July 1st until July 29th this year;
- Reports on 2015/16 BiH Youth Premier League and Regions Cup finals with formal congratulations to the winners: FK Sarajevo (cadets), HSK Zrinjski (juniors) and Tuzla Canton FF (amateur football);
- Report on national "A" football team's friendly match with Spain and participation at the Kirin Cup Soccer in Japan. The executive board deemed their success remarkable and encouraging ahead of the 2018 World Cup qualifying;
- Other national football teams' schedule and activities since the last ExCo meeting;
- Rules and regulations on BiH national "A" team members' rights and obligations;
- Regulations on 2018 World Cup qualifying rewards;
- FFBIH financial standings info;
- Information about the Training center and its proposed future business activities;
- Info regarding FFBIH Club licensing committee's decisions during the extraordinary licensing procedures;
- Information from the regional football associations' meeting in Moscow;
- Mediation and counseling board member Faruk Hadzibegic's inappropriate and unacceptable public comments regarding FFBIH's work and individuals are strongly condemned, and can cause significant damage to the reputation and dignity of our football union in the country and affect relations with FIFA and UEFA and their frameworks of action.
- Information regarding Amer Halep's local lawsuit against FFBIH.
In this regard, the court passed a judgment on May 24th, dismissing the accuser's claims, and on the same day reached the verdict dismissing the prosecutor's proposal for asking for security measures. After withdrawing his lawsuit on May 31st, the judge ordered Halep to compensate FFBIH for all legal costs on both accounts.
