Čelik achieved 2 wins, 3 draws and 8 defeats, with a goal difference 17:28.
The head of the youth unit of Zenica, Omer Kopić, says about the results of the U-19 team:
“Unfortunately, the results of the first team were reflected to the situation of our youth team. A lot of young players went to other clubs and maybe this is the reason for the poor results of the U-19 team of Čelik this autumn. We believe that such situation will be changed, that the club leadership will draw the right moves, and that playing for Čelik will be again a dream for young players.”
Kopić points out the players are working hard in the winter break:
“The conditions in which we are preparing are not ideal, but we are trying to get the maximum out of what we have. The players are working hard, giving their utmost, so we hope that in the spring we will play better and win more points.”
Omer Kopić expects survival:
“Our primary goal is to survive in the league. Performing in this competition is very important for clubs in financial terms, and for players it is important to meet with the best players of their age. I believe that we will achieve our goal and that the juniors of Čelik have the quality to compete in the Premier Youth League next season too.”
Emrah Skopljak with 6 goals is the top scorer of the team, while Anes Šuvalić scored two goals less. Adnan Kalabić and Selim Žuna scored 2, while Marin Milanović, Gabrijel Popović and Meris Selimović scored 1 goal.
