Bosnia and Herzegovina's cadet team goalkeeper Igor Markovic saved the net in the match against Serbia (which our team won 2:0), and today we got the chance to talk with him: "The match was hard, and the terrain was rough. However we adapter better and won in the end.
I've started practicing football around 2003 in Belgium. My father was also a goalkeeper so I wanted to follow in his footsteps.
Being called to play for national team has been a great honor for me. It feels good, and I think that's the proof of our quality and efforts. It'll be hard in the Elite qualifying round, all teams are practically equal, but we have a chance to qualify for Euro."
His role model: "It's Manuel Neuer."
When asked about his ambitions he said: "I hope I'll get a chance to play in Champions League some day."
