Bosnia and Herzegovina women's national football team coach Samira Hurem is counting on a young player from German Turbine Potsdam, Lidija Kulis, in the match with England next week. Today we talked with her at the FFBIH training center in Zenica about her career and upcoming qualifying match.

"We've already played one away game with England. It wasn't easy playing against such players. It's easier now because we got to know them, we're familiar with their tactics, and we know how to stand up to them in order to make a better result. Our advantage is the home field and familiar audience, and I think we can do well. Each of us will do her best.

We've made quite a step forward compared to the last qualifications. We beat Serbia and Estonia, and each year and each qualifying round we're getting better. Football in Bosnia and Herzegovina is definitely going forward. I remember how things were when I played in the junior team, and comparing to the conditions our junior players have now it's definitely gotten better."

Her plans for the future: "I've extended my contract with the club for two years and we'll be focusing on playing in the Champions League. We want to retake the top spot in the championship, but it's also important that I stay healthy."
