On the second day of the training session in Zenica, we got together with one of the BIH women's national football team players Marija Aleksic who shared with us her thoughts on the upcoming qualifying games.
"We've won one, and lost two games so far, and that's pretty much what we have expected. We're not happy Belgium scored so many goals against us, because the match itself wasn't so bad.
The match with Serbia will be very important, we hope we'll play it right and end up third in this group. Only after that match we'll think about English team who won the bronze medal at the last World Cup by the way."
However she enjoys playing against strong teams: "It's a great honor to play against best teams in front of so many fans. I felt that kind of atmosphere for the first time in Belgium – playing in front of thousands of people, against really good opponent, the feeling was extraordinary. I can't wait to play against highly-ranked opponents such as England."
Besides football and other sports, her favorite pastime is playing the guitar.
