Bosnia and Herzegovina Under-16 national football team is currently having a training session in Zenica and on this occasion we interviewed a young player from FK Sarajevo Rijad Sadiku, and the captain of the national team.
"I've been playing football since I was seven. At first I watched my friends play and shorty after I joined them. My role model is Edin Dzeko and I'd like to have a career like his. I hope to succeed in that.
The highlight of my sports career so far is playing for the national team and it's the greatest honor for one player. The most important games I've playeed were those wearing my country's colors and emblem. Right now I'm trying to prove myself to coach and his staff in order to get an invitation for the qualifying tournament in Georgia. The team is great and the competition is high."
He talked about his performance and ambitions in FK Sarajevo: "I'm satisfied with my abilities and my status in the club. I'm trying to meet the obligations put before me, we're in the race for the title and we hope the end of the season will be successful.
I'd like to reach FK Sarajevo senior team, but also to continue playing for my country's national teams."
