Bosnia and Herzegovina U-17 national football team has gathered yesterday at the FFBIH training center in Zenica, and one of the lucky players that got an invitation is Red Star Belgrade's defender Sasa Peric who talked with us today:
"I'm glad we've gathered for the first time since October last year, and it was great to see my teammates again. There are also several new players who weren't with us last time, and working together provides an ideal opportunity for new friendships.
We hope for the best in the upcoming Elite qualifying round in Georgia. It's up to us to prepare as best as possible in order to succeed. We want to be the first youth team to qualify for the major football competition."
He also talked about his club: "I'm playing for Red Star cadets at the moment, and I'm satisfied with my form. Of course, there's no time to relax, I have to continue practicing in order to move up in the team."
When asked who is his role model, Peric said: "I like many players, but I would have to single out Marcel from Real Madrid."
