Young football player from Belgrade's Rad, Savo Djokic, is training with the Bosnia and Herzegovina U-19 national football team in Zenica.
Djokic had several appearances for the national cadet team, and now for the first time he competes for his place in the junior team: "Working conditions in the camp are great and the training sessions are superb. This is a very significant experience for all of us that's for sure.
I started playing football at the age of nine at Jedinstvo from Brcko, from where I was transferred to FK Rad. But it's always nice to come to a national team gathering, and one of the morst important events await us in October when European Championship qualifying round is scheduled to begin."
Djokic has become a regular in his club: "I recently signed a scholarship contract with the club and I am satisfied with my status there. I currently play with the 1997 youth team. They are one year older than me, but my play time is good."
Savo's favorite player is Xabi Alonso, and his plans for the future are tied to FK Rad for the time being.
