One of the players chosen to play in the upcoming games with Serbia and England is young midfielder Tatjana Stanic who spoke with us today about her football beginnings, qualifying, role models.

"I started playing football with my friends and I've always loved the sport. When Mladost Nevic Polje football club was opened I started to train, and I remained there as a captain until I moved to Banja Luka where I'm playing at the moment."

Stanic's thoughts on last three qualifying games: "We know our capabilities, and we showed our best in the match against Estonia. On the other hand, we didn't respond to Belgium's game in the right way. The truth is that their players are better since they work in better conditions. However, I think we could have done better."

Regarding upcoming games she said: "Serbia has a good team, but we have a chance to win if we give our best out there. When it comes to England, it's one of the best female teams in the world but the match against them will be a great experience for us. We can learn a lot from them and should strive to be like that. In any case we have to give the maximum effort in the coming matches."

At the end of the interview she mentioned her role model is Liverpool's Steven Gerrard, and that besides football she likes playing chess.
