The success of Bosnia and Herzegovina's national cadet team still echoes in the media, however coach Sakib Malkocevic doesn't allow himself to be carried away while he analyzes the performances of his players at the recent qualifying tournament, instead he makes plans for upcoming European Championship.
"I looked at the footages of our games once again and I can say that we've played a good tournament. Only with such approach, attitude, and tactical discipline we can deal with strong opponents, even though there were some flaws that should be dealt with. In the end, I have to commend all the guys who performed in the Elite round.
This is a great result and I believe it's just the beginning of good things to come, and hopefully it will be an incentive for other national teams now that we've seen how we should play against stronger opponents. We've drawn attention away from some unpleasant issues and rejoiced together. Every sports success means a lot to our nation and our people, and now we've done the same for them and we're proud of that.
We don't have much time, we have to begin with preparations for the European Championship. Staff knows how it all should look like, we'll start on time, and we should be ready for this major football competition."
