Bosnia and Herzegovina's Under-17 national football team has recently qualified for the European Championship, and a credit for that success also goes to goalkeeper trainer Nenad Dzidic who we talked with today.
This expert shares his thoughts on our cadet team's great achievement: "Qualifying for the European Championship is a huge success for this generation of players who have completed the Elite qualifying round tournament in Georgia at the highest level. This is a big deal for our country, for the FFBIH and for ourselves. We excelled when it was needed the most, and I have to congratulate our players once again, because they deserved it.
I think we're not yet aware of our success, which is perhaps the greatest football accomplishment in Bosnia since "A" team reached the World Cup. We've shown that we can cope with the best teams out there. There won't be any weak teams at this championship, however, our boys have a positive attitude and character, which guarantees they will do their best in every match. We certainly won't be favorites in Azerbaijan, but it's up to us to fight in order to reach the best possible results."
