Sloboda's attacker and a Bosnia and Herzegovina Under-17 national football team member Edis Smajic missed the Elite Qualifying Round in Georgia due to injury. However, he's ready now to do his best at the European Championship:

"We all came here thinking about the championship. I suffered a ligament injury, but it's healed now and I'm ready as the rest of the team to make a good result. The European Championship is important for everyone, especially for young players at the beginning of their careers such as us."

He thinks the team can make it to the quarter-finals: "I expect us to advance to the second round and be among the best eight teams in Europe. I belive we can make that happen."
