Following yesterday's duel with Portugal, BiH women's junior national team members are already thinking about the game with Sweden, which is scheduled for tomorrow at 14:00 hours. Coach Nikic's players will perform one training session today in the ethno village Stanisici.
Mia Kuljanin got an invitation to the national team, and today she spoke with us about her career and her football beginnings: "I started playing football alongside my brother. In the beginning I practiced with the boys in FK Slavija and football school Olimp, until I moved to SFK 2000 where I still play."
Before the WU-19 team, she was a standard player in the WU-17 team: "I'm glad that our coaches are counting on me. I played for the cadet national team, and now I'm a junior. It's an honor, but also a duty to play at this level, and it's a remarkable recognition for my work and efforts. I hope I'll be able to make a debut for the "A" team in the future."
This talented player also commented on previous match with Portugal which our team lost 0-3: "We started that match badly, we simply weren't fighting enough. We had to show more skills against such a team. I hope we'll make up for that tomorrow against Sweden."
Mia believes that even more difficult task awaits our team tomorrow: "Our next opponent is the favorite team in this group, and also really organized and good. It will be a great experience for us, because we'll play against one of the best teams in this category. We'll have to modify our approach compared to the yesterday's game and try to surprise our opponent."
