Because of the frequent headlines in local media regarding football referee Emir Aleckovic's case, FFBIH would like to make a statement of what we consider a closed case. According to our statute, rules and regulations, investigative actions were carried out as soon as charges were filed, and FFBIH authorities issued a legal action.

In this process, FFBIH preserved suspended referee's integrity, and no informations regarding this investigation "leaked" out from FFBIH hq. However, if media continues to challenge these decisions, FFBIH will have no choice but to inform the public on the details of this case.

Having said that, FFBIH will use all legal actions according to the BIH's laws to keep its dignity intact.
