Bosnia and Herzegovina's national football team goalkeeper Asmir Begovic has opened the sports playground financed by Institute for special education and care Mjedenica today in Sarajevo.

Before going to his team's gathering, Begovic visited this institution where he spent time with the students who will get their first sports playground. The constuction should be completed by the end of April.

Asmir Begovic thanked everyone for their support and said: "I was here two years ago, and I've met these children. They grew on me immediately, and I wanted to do something for them. I'm happy to see the project in underway, and hope to see everything finished soon."

Special olympics president Enver Cosickic: "I'm glad this project will be completed soon. I'd like to thank everyone who pledged their support, especiall Asmir Begovic."

Ibrahim Hadzibajric and Selmir Hadzic also expressed their gratitude to Asmir Begovic and his foundation.
