Organized by the Olympic Committee of Bosnia and Herzegovina, the event "Athlete of the year" was held last night at the Olympic Museum in Zetra sports hall in Sarajevo, where four awards were awarded to football teams and employees.

The award for the most successful sports club went to SFK 2000 Sarajevo, current BiH Women's Premier League champion, who also qualified for the UEFA Champions League 1/16th finals this season.

Bosnia and Herzegovina Under-17 national football team, which participated in the 2016 European Championship in Baku, Azerbaijan, was declared the most successful national team in our country.

BiH cadet team head coach Sakib Malkocevic got the award for this year's most successful coach.

For his long-term contribution to the development of sports, FFBIH technical director Denijal Piric received an award for the outstanding sports worker.
