Because of the suspension, Bazdarevic won't be able to directly give advice to his players, and reporters wanted to know who will do that in his place:
"The coaching staff will lead the game. Dragan Peric is the oldest there and he'll be the one making decisions, but of course the whole team will cooperate."
Bazdarevic believes the team is ready: "For the time spent together we tried to remain serious. Although there are new players in the team we're well-coordinated. All who got the call know what to expect. Although we are favorites, we have to approach this game in a professional manner. After tonight's training we'll decide on the final lineup."
When asked about the Gibraltar's team coach said: "I'm sure they've also been working and preparing. It's important that we do our work properly and act responsible and tough. They will certainly try to make that difficult, but we're still a better team and with the right approach we're going to win points."
Begovic: "We have to come up with the right solution in every game, and make a fine balance between attack and defense. Ball possession will certainly be on our side, but we have to be smart. We shouldn't open ourselves too much, because Gibraltar also has a certain quality. We won't have any problems if we play disciplined.
The new players fit in wonderfully, and they brought new strength and energy to our team. They have quality and I hope they will remain in the national team in the future."
After the press conference, our team proceeded with the training session at the FFBIH training center. Qualifier with Gibraltar is scheduled for tomorrow at 18:00 hours.
