Bosnia and Herzegovina national "A" football team's official press conference ahead of friendly match with Switzerland was held at the Letzigrund stadium this evening, where coach Mehmed Bazdarevic and player Senad Lulic addressed the media.
Bazdarevic: "As we said, friendlies are important for us in order to acquire as much information about our players' physical form as we can. We'll be playing against a very good team, but we're ready. Although I respect our opponent, we want to make problems for them on the field.
All players who came here are ready to play, and it won't be a surprise to see any of them on the grass. Of course, members who played against Luxembourg will have a slight advantage. We want to use these games in the best way and to check up on everyone. The result is important for us, but there's more to it than result in these warm-up matches."
Lulic: "I feel good. I've lived here for two years and it's nice to be back. It's a special feeling for me playing here. Switzerland has good players and it's good for us to play against strong opponents. We'll have a difficult match tomorrow, but we're going to do our best and win."
When asked about the friendship and rivalry between him and Swiss coach Petkovic, Bazdarevic said: "I always beat him. Everybody knows he's our friend and close to our team. He did a great job with Switzerland qualifying for the European Championship. We'll forget about our friendship tomorrow and try to make as many problems as we can for him during 90 minutes so he also could prepare his team for what's coming. After that, we're friends again, and we're going to cheer for them at Euro for sure."
After the press conference, our team proceeded to a training session.
