National football team coach Mehmed Bazdarevic and U-21 coach Darko Nestorovic held a press conference today in hotel Europa in Sarajevo, where published their lineups for the upcoming Euro qualifying matches against Israel and Norway.
Bazdarevic: "We've checked up all our players, and we won't leave anything to chance. Players know they have a chance to prove their worth, and it's up to us to prepare for the match as best as we can. Israel has a good team, and we're familiar with their shortcomings and strengths. With our fans' help, I believe we can do really well in this match."
His thoughts on Emir Spahic: "We're all aware of his quality and his love for the team, and he's highly motivated. I have a feeling this will be one of his best performances."
Darko Nestorovic: "After ten days of training sessions and two friendlies, I have a better insight in this team. There are four players who were missing last time. Unfortunately Prevljak's injured and we won't be able to count on him this time. I expect a positive result in Norway, meaning anything but loss is good. We all believe in this generation."
Match with Israel is scheduled for June 12th at 20:45 hours at the stadium Bilino Polje, Zenica. Day after that, U-21 team will play their qualifying match in Norway.
