Bosnia and Herzegovina national football team coach Mehmed Bazdarevic published his lineup for the upcoming play-offs with the Republic of Ireland during the press conference in hotel Europa in Sarajevo today.
FFBIH general secretary Jasmin Bakovic addressed the media first: "After a bad start last year it seemed almost impossible situation for us, however we didn't surrender. In the mean time, coach Bazdarevic has laid a solid foundation with his responsible and continuous approach, made things right again and now we have a chance to qualify for Euro via play-offs. Players gave their best with their serious approach and positive nature. Also, we must not forget our fans who supported us during the whole time, and media representatives with their objective and affirmative reports on our best team."
Coach Bazdarevic: "We have a difficult task ahead, and we must overcome it in the best way, however players have already done most of the job. We're all part of the same team - players, coaching staff, FFBIH, media and fans. The situation is more favorable now than last time, but Ireland is a serious team and we're going to have a hard time in Zenica. They come from a football nation, they have a highly motivated team, and regardless of their problems with injuries, they will pose a threat to us. It's important for our players to be ready and in shape."
This time his lineup includes one debutant, Rade Krunic, who plays for Empoli F.C. (Italy). "He plays very well for his club and that deserved our attention", said Bazdarevic.
BIH team will gather on Nov. 9th.
