During today's press conference at the hotel Europe in Sarajevo, Bosnia and Herzegovina national "A" football team coach Mehmed Bazdarevic published his lineup for the upcoming World Cup qualifier with Greece, which is scheduled for November 13th in Athens.
Bazdarevic: "This qualifier with Greece is very important for us and it will certainly be difficult. I hope we'll be ready by then and meet everyone's expectations. Due to injuries, Anicic and Prcic are missing from the list.
Any outcome other than defeat is good. We mustn't repeat the mistakes we made in Belgium. We have to exhibit quality in Greece but also in later games because there's still a lot to do in in these qualifiers. I believe in this team and I think we can achieve our goal.
Greece's team doesn't like when the opponent plays tough and has a superior ball possession during the game. In previous games their offensive line was a bit slow and couldn't form a defensive block on time. However, it's important how we play as well, and we have to take advantage of their weaknesses in the right way."
The team will gather on Nov. 7th at the FFBIH training center in Zenica.
BiH lineup: Asmir Begović (FC Chelsea), Ibrahim Šehić (FC Qarabag), Kenan Pirić (FK Sloboda), Toni Šunjić (FC Stuttgart), Ognjen Vranješ (FC Tom Tomsk), Emir Spahić (Hamburger SV), Sead Kolašinac (FC Schalke 04), Ermin Bičakčić (TsG Hoffenheim), Edin Cocalić (KV Mechelen), Ervin Zukanović (Atalanta Bergamo), Miralem Pjanić (Juventus), Haris Medunjanin (Maccabi Tel Aviv), Gojko Cimirot (PAOK), Mato Jajalo (US Palermo), Edin Višća (Istanbul BB SK), Rade Krunić (Empoli), Tino Sven Sušić (KRC Genk), Izet Hajrović (SV Werder Bremen), Senad Lulić (SS Lazio), Danijel Milićević (KAA Gent), Edin Džeko (AS Roma), Vedad Ibišević (Hertha BSC), Milan Đurić (AC Cesena).
