The 72nd FIFA Congress was held in Doha today, with the participation of representatives of the Bosnia and Herzegovina Football Federation.
The delegation of the Federation consisted of President Vico Zeljković, Vice-President Irfan Durić, Advisor to the President Marko Miličić and General Secretary Adnan Džemidžić.
As part of the work activities, several bilateral meetings were held with representatives of football associations from our region. In addition, meetings were held with the UEFA representatives to discuss the largest project in the history of the BH FF, reconstruction of 12 main pitches at the stadiums of clubs competing in the m:tel Premier League of Bosnia and Herzegovina. The UEFA representatives gave full support to this project and its implementation.
The Congress highlighted the facts about the damage caused to the entire football world by the COVID-19 pandemic. Great efforts are being made to overcome this difficult situation all over the world.
The items on the agenda were acclamatory adopted, the work on each topic was processed in accordance with the standard and accepted by the delegates. During the Congress, it was talked about the further development of football, as well as about certain changes in the FIFA Statute. All proposals were unanimously adopted.
