Željezničar is the most successful, followed by Zrinjski, Sarajevo and Široki Brijeg

The last round of the autumn part of the BH Telecom Premier League of Bosnia and Herzegovina for the season 2017/2018 was played last weekend.

In the first 18 rounds, the Željezničar team showed the best, and it is on the first place in the table with 38 points. The “Blue” from Grbavica won 41 points this autumn (13 wins, 2 draws and 3 losses). The closest followers are Zrinjski with 40 points, then Sarajevo and Široki Brijeg with 35 points.

Željezničar and Zrinjski are the teams with the highest number of victories (13), while the most numbers of draws have Krupa and Mladost - 7. The highest number of defeats (14) has Čelik from Zenica.

The most efficient team in the league is Sarajevo with 41 scored goals, while Vitez scored the least number of goals (8). Željezničar has the best defence of the league with only 12 received goals, and the players of Čelik took the balls from their nets the most often - 45 times.

The Sarajevo striker, Mersudin Ahmetović, leads the list of goal-scorers with 13 scored goals. Luka Menalo (Široki Brijeg) and Goran Zakarić (Željezničar) sent 9 balls into the opponent's net and 8 goals were scored by players of Zrinjski, Nemanja Bilbija and Miloš Filipović, as well as Krste Velkoski from Sarajevo.

Široki Brijeg won the most points on the home pitch, 24 (8 wins and 1 loss, goal difference 19:4). Two points less have Zrinjski and Željezničar. The worst score in its pitch has GOŠK and Vitez with 7 points. GOŠK achieved two victories, 1 draw and 6 defeats, while Vitez had one victory, 4 draws and 4 defeats.

The Sarajevo team showed away the most, where they won 20 points (6 wins, 2 draw, 1 loss, goal difference 20:7). Željezničar won away 19 and Zrinjski 18 points. Vitez and Čelik failed to win even a point outside their cities. In 9 games they achieved the same number of defeats, Vitez with a goal difference 0:20, and Čelik 3:29.

In 108 games of the autumn part of the championship, 57 victories were realised by domestic teams (52.78%), while 19 matches ended with a draw (17.59%). The guests won 32 victories (29.63%). 260 goals were scored (2.41 per game, i.e. 1 goal for every 37.4 minutes). Domestic teams scored 159 and away teams 101 goals.

In the first half of the matches, 123 goals were scored (47.3%) and in the second half 137 (52.7%). The goals were most often scored between 61st and 70th minute, then between the 71st and 80th minute of the matches (34 goals, 13.1%).

From the 1st to 10th minute, 29 goals were scored (11.2%), while between 11th and 20th, and 21st and 30th, 24 goals were scored (9.2%). The goal nets were shaken 27 times between the 31st and 40th minute of the games (10.4%), and 30 times between 41st and 50th minute (11.5%). Between the 51st and 60th minute, 26 goals were scored (10%), and 32 between the 81st and 90th minute (12.3%).

Players of the BH Telecom Premier League of Bosnia and Herzegovina received 502 cautions (yellow cards) this autumn - 4.65 per match, one yellow card every 19.4 minutes. 19 red cards were also shown - 0.18 per game, one for every 511.6 minutes.

The highest number of victories in the series was realised by the Sarajevo team (5) - from the 15th to the 18th round, while Čelik achieved the most losses in the series (6) - from the 13th to the 18th round.

The Željezničar players managed to make a series of 8 matches without a defeat (from the 11th to the 18th round), while Krupa did not feel the bitterness of defeat in the last 7 rounds of the autumn part of the championship. Most of the games without a win have Vitez (10), from the 9th to the 18th round.
