National football team has gatehered in Zenica today for upcoming preparations for games against Andorra and Austria. Coach Bazdarevic greeted present media representatives and added: "It's important everyone comes healthy, in good mood and willing to work. My associates and I watched how Andorra plays, we know what to expect, and it's up to us to show our determination."
Bazdarevic and his staff held several individual training sessions, and one of those players was Sejad Salihovic who complained of pain in his right leg, but medical team believes it's nothing serious to stop him from playing.
All players managed to arrive today except Emir Spahic who will join them tomorrow evening. FFBIH representatives Ivan Beus, Dragan Kulina and Denijal Piric also welcomed our players.
Ivan Beus: "It's my honor to greet you in person and also in president Begic's behalf. I believe we can still qualify for Euro despite the current situation. Whole executive board believes in you and give you our full support."
Edin Dzeko: "Our support means a lot to us. I can promise you we'll give our best in the coming matches to win. I wish to welcome new players in our team, and for coach and his staff to lead us to Euro."
Two training sessions are scheduled for tomorrow at 10:30 and 17:00 hours, however statements for media will be given only prior to afternoon training. We'll also try to make future training sessions available to the public as well.
