Bosnia and Herzegovina Under-17 national football team gathered today at the FFBIH training center in Zenica, where they will prepare for the upcoming UEFA European Under-17 Championship which will be held in Croatia from 3rd to 19th of May.
Coach Sakib Malkocevic discussed the preparations: "I expect the team to be complete by tonight. We'll be analyzing the opponents here and work on tactics in order to familiarize our players with other teams' qualities. We know what awaits us there and we need to prepare these boys for the European Championship as best as we can.
We've managed to qualify for the major football competition for the second year in a row. Players have to approach this event responsibly, because it's also an opportunity for them to affirm themselves and also our country. Maybe we're considered outsiders like last year, but we achieved one victory and had two tight losses. We have demanding matches ahead of us, and we'll try to finish them in the best possible way."
