Bosnia and Herzegovina male cadet national football team gathered today at the hotel Park, Vogosca and began with preparations for the upcoming European Championship qualifying tournament.
Coach Sakib Malkocevic: "We have prepared throughout the year and play friendly matches whenever we can in order to be ready for qualifying tournament in Moldova. Our opponents are Ukraine, Estonia and Moldova, and all of them are physically strong and capable teams. We'll be training here for the next four days before departing for Moldova, and in the mean time we'll try to correct some flaws we had in recent matches. I hope we'll repeat the success of previous generations and qualify for the Elite Round.
The group is not easy and we have a long way to go. Ukraine is a very good team that's regular in the Elite Qualifying Round and other major football events. We also shouldn't underestimate the qualities of Moldova and Estonia's teams. However, we also have a good team, and I believe we can be among the top two teams and qualify for the next round."
Player Jasmin Celikovic: "The atmosphere in the team is great, and now that we've started our training sessions, we've got a good chance to succeed."
Midfielder Stefan Kovac: "We are ready for the responsibilities that await us. We must make an effort, work hard and show our quality in Moldova. Although opponents are not to be underestimated, but we believe in ourselves and our values, and in the end we wish to win."
