Bosnia and Herzegovina national futsal team has gathered yesterday at the FFBIH training center in Zenica. They already performed one training session at the Arena sports hall, while one more practice is scheduled for today. First friendly match will be played tomorrow at 18:00, and the second one on Oct. 27th, also at 18:00 hours.

Coach Boro Matan: "We'll try out several new, younger players. We want to see whether we can expand the lineup and have more players at our disposal for the next meeting, but also to check their up the condition of our standard players."

Matan also commented the UEFA Futsal European Championship main round draw which was held recently at the UEFA headquarters in Nyon, Switzerland:

"Azerbaijan is certainly the favorite team in the group because they'll be hosting this qualifying tournament, but also because they've been a regular participants in the finals of such events. Several Brazilians are part of their team, and they are one of the best futsal groups in Europe. Hungarian team is on the rise, but they are already playing at major events. Opponents are tough, but the draw could have been worse for us. We need to prepare well, and only then we can expect a good result, which is one of the first two spots in the group."
