Bosnia and Herzegovina Under-17 national football team has gathered today at the FFBIH training center in Zenica for a three-day training session. Coach Sakib Malkocevic won't be able to count on injured player Djani Salcin this time:
"All players came today except Salcin who's recovering from an operation, and it's uncertain if he'll be ready for qualifications; he's an important member of this team.
Because of the European Championship, we missed the development tournament so this gathering is quite important for us now, the team needs to get ready for the qualifiers. Time is short and we have to use it well. There will be two games against Italy, and after that we'll have a clear picture which 18 players will compete in the qualifying round where our goal is to advance to the Elite Round."
National team member Denis Nisic: "I'm delighted I got a call from the coach who gave me the chance to prove myself wearing national colors and jersey. The atmosphere is great, and I'll try to show my skills in the next three days and earn a few invitations in the future."
Our cadet team will have four training sessions during their time there.
