FFBIH has confirmed that Bosnia and Herzegovina national football team will participate at Kirin Cup in Japan. Besides BIH and host Japan, Bulgaria and Denmark are the other two teams confirmed to play at 2016 edition of the cup.
2016 Kirin Cup is scheduled for 3rd to 7th of June. The semi-finals will be played at the Toyota Aichi stadium (capacity of 45.000 seats). Suita stadium in Osaka (40.000 seats) will host the games on June 7th.
The tournament was founded in 1978 as an international club competition and was last held in 2011. From 1992 onwards the format was changed to a round robin national team competition. The first nation to win the competition was Argentina.
