With today's gathering at the FFBIH training camp in Zenica, preparations for the upcoming Euro qualifying games with Wales and Cyprus have officially begun. Staff have prepared a comprehensive plan which includes training sessions, video analysis, and meetings.
Those who arrived earlier will undergo easier workout, but by tomorrow all players should be available to coach Bazdarevic who although faced with some problems, has an optimistic view of the whole situation: "Great challenge is ahead of us, certainly we're in for a tough game but I hope we'll come up with a solution that will lead us to our goal. Wales plays very good, but I think we have to look for strength in the players that are available now. We are good and strong enough to overcome this difficult obstacle and we'll certainly do everything to achieve our goal."
Regarding Edin Dzeko coach said: "We are in contact with Edin, he's being treated in Rome. I wouldn't comment on other players' conditions right now, the medical team will examine them tonight."
Player Anel Hadzic: "It's always great when we get together. Ultimately, coach will decide who is going to play, but I'm always willing to give 100 percent, as are the rest of my colleagues. We've got a tough game ahead of us, Wales is currently leading in the standings, however we play in Zenica, and we'll be motivated. Our greatest assets are unity and atmosphere within the team, and of course our fans."
Hajrovic, Anicic and Bajic will be missing out on the upcoming qualifying games.
