The official press conference before the qualifying match with Cyprus was held this evening at the GSP auxiliary stadium in Nicosia, where head coach Mehmed Bazdarevic and goalkeeper Asmir Begovic addressed the media representatives.

Bazdarevic: "We lost the first match to the team who plays good football. It will be hard tomorrow, but we didn't come here to calclulate the results, instead we'll play to win. One point is not an option, and we wan't to do everything we can to qualify for the play-offs."

When asked if Edin Dzeko will play: "We already said we'll wait after tonight's training session before deciding that, but what's important is that Edin worked out yesterday and there's a good chance he will be able to play tomorrow. Whether he plays from the beginning or not is up to the medical team."

Asmir Begovic: "The mood in the team is great, and our confidence is back after that victory on Saturday. We're ready for this match. We know it's going to be hard, but players love that. It's always better to play in front of the full stadium, and I hope we'll be good and achieve the result that takes us into play-offs."

Bazdarevic briefly talked about possible substitutions: "We'll wait and see how tonight's training session will go before making such decisions. I think everyone did good yesterday and it's important that players are ready for this tough match, against an opponent who will also be looking to qualify for play-offs."

Begovic commented on changes in our defense: "All defensive players are really good, and that helps a lot, but it's also important we communicate well and do our jobs. Our tactics are ready and I think we can do this together because I believe in my teammates."

All tickets (about 22.000) for tomorrow's match have been sold, but only after Cyprus' victory over Israel.
