The official press conference before the qualifying match with Wales was held this evening at the stadium Bilino Polje in Zenica, where head coach Mehmed Bazdarevic and goalkeeper Asmir Begovic addressed the media representatives.

After greeting the attendants, Bazdarevic said: "We had problems with three players - Kolasinac, Susic and Zec had to leave training sessions because of more serious injuries. Hajrovic joined the team later however. We all hoped Dzeko would be able to play with us because he means so much to our team. We've done everything in order to prepare him for the match, and after tonight's training we'll know whether he will play or not. In any case, we must be prepared for what's coming, and we don't need a special motivation to do that."

When asked about the opponent coach said: "We've watched their games, we know what to expect. It's possible they will allow us to have better ball possession and then threaten with the counterattacks, because that works for them. We mustn't fall into the traps they set."

Begovic: "We have a lot of character and spirit. Pressure doesn't concern us, we have to stay positive and be ready to attack them."

Media were interested in whether our defense can stop their attacker Gareth Bale. Begovic: "We're ready for him, but more importantly, we're ready for the game. One player doesn't make a team, however we have to take Wales very seriously and at the same time be agressive, smart and assertive."

After the press conference, team members went out for their last training session before tomorrow's match.
