Bosnia and Herzegovina's national football team has departed for USA today where they'll continue with preparations for World Cup.
On this occasion, a press conference has been held today at Sarajevo's international airport where many media representatives were present.
"Today we make one more step towards World Cup. First part of the preparations has been done, and there were many other activities which brought us closer to our supporters. We are proud to go to the World Cup, but we also share the pain and suffering with those who were harmed in the recent floods. Those people have our support, and these players here deserve it too", said FFBIH president Elvedin Begic.
Coach Safet Susic: "Those who trained from day one are ready. We had some problems with Bicakcic's injury, and we didn't want to risk him much. I hope everyone will be healthy for the World Cup. These guys are serious, ambitious and they are well prepared."
Captain Emir Spahic: "I have to say I'm happy with the way we trained and with the whole atmosphere in the team. We are leaving Bosnia, but we take Bosnia with us."
They will play two friendly matches in USA, one agaist Ivory Coast in St. Louis on May 30th, and the other against Mexico in Chicage on June 3rd.
