Bosnia and Herzegovina national football team coach Mehmed Bazdarevic and captain Edin Dzeko held a press conference in Zenica this evening, ahead of tomorrow's play-off match with Republic of Ireland.

Bazdarevic: "We won't change our concept and approach. After tonight's training session, we'll decide on the formation, whether it's going to be 4-3-3 or a different one. Irish have some problems with injuries, but that's not our business, they certainly have competent substitutions.  However, we're not afraid despite their quality, and we're ready. We analyzed their game from all aspects, good and bad, and I think we have plenty of arguments to fight back. We respect our opponent, but we're not afraid of them. We have to be ready for the game, ready to fight and to be aggressive. Ball possession will be very important tomorrow, and we have to do everything we can to make a difference in the first match."

Edin Dzeko: "In the last two games we showed that we can play against strong teams even without several key players. We're playing at home, and I hope we will win the match. I'm familiar with Irish players who play in the strongest football league in the world, and I have to say they didn't end up there by chance, they have quality and perhaps more important – unity. They never give up and I expect that to be the case tomorrow. Everyone wants to qualify for EURO, us and them. We know what we have to do, and it's important we concentrate on our game."

After the press conference, our team performed a training session at the stadium. First leg is scheduled for tomorrow at 20:45 hours.
