Team captain Edin Dzeko arrived in Zenica late afternoon after undergoing medical examinations and therapies in Rome. He will maintain the special regime in Zenica as well.
Coach Bazdarevic has a complete team now, and regardless of players' injuries, all of them should be available for upcoming games with Wales and Cyprus. Lulic had problems with the hamstrings, however he's well now and can do all that is required of him. Zec was complaining of back pain, and Kolasinac of pain in his Achilles tendon. Medical team will determine if they'll be able to play after the training session on Friday. For now, head coach counts on all players.
When asked if Wales had a surprising performance in these qualifications, Bazdarevic answered: "It wasn't a surprise, this nation loves football and invest heavily in it. It's a good team, but I hope they will congratulate us this weekend for winning."
Ervin Zukanovic: "Expectations are high and we all want to win. All teams have a certain quality, including Wales. However, we must look for ourselves, to approach the game very seriously and impose our style on them in order to secure those three points.
I was left out last time due to injury, but now that I've recovered I returned playing for my club. I'm ready and available for the coming matches."
Edin Visca: "I expect us to win. Our opponent would be fine with a draw, and they might play defense. Only victory will keep us in the game, and we have to be agressive and engaging. The atmosphere in the team is great. It's bad that several players are injured, but I'm sure everyone in the starting lineup on Saturday will give their best to win."
Before today's training session, our team had a visit from institution for children with special needs from Maglaj whose boys and girls had the opportunity to take photos with our best football players.
